Born and raised in Brandon, Florida, Ian has always had a passion for math and science. He began working in kitchens at just 15 years old but didn't discover his true love for cooking until college. After spending two years studying engineering, Ian decided to pursue his passion and enrolled in Daytona State College's Culinary Arts program, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Culinary Management.

Ian joined 1916 in 2020, where he has continued to refine his culinary expertise and grow as a leader. Throughout his time with the company, he has developed a reputation for precision, creativity, and dedication. Drawing on his engineering background, Ian brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to every event, ensuring each experience is executed with exceptional care and consistency.

Second Plate Catering offers a range of dining experiences, from casual buffets and food stations to elegant plated entrees, catering to every occasion. The restaurant proudly partners with the Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce, PC Rotary Club, and the Florida Strawberry Festival.
